|Type of troll||Harasser|
Why are they trolls?[edit | edit source]
Jonathan Galindoes are nefarious in nature, they encourage people to commit suicide and whenever that does not work they harass them, stalk them and threaten to doxx them (However, those are empty threats since most if not all of them are incapable of doxxing anyone).
Origins[edit | edit source]
The trend that spawned Jonathan Galindo happened around mid-2020 in Spain when the original Jonathan Galindo, hereafter named "@jonathangalindo54" on Tiktok until the account was inevitably deleted, started stalking other tiktokers with his Blue Whale Challenge antics.
Jonathan Galindoes always have the same profile picture of a Goofy look-alike cosplayer from between 2012 and 2013 known as Samuel Canini. That same cosplayer raised concerns about those trolls who use his face as their avatar.
Noteworthy facts[edit | edit source]
The persona of Jonathan Galindo is based after the Blue Whale challenge, a similar and quite haunting "game" that was nothing more than an urban myth. The myth involved downloading a fictive application from Google Play called "Blue Whale Challenge", then the person would start receiving messages directing them to increasingly difficult challenges which would always eventually lead to suicide.
So far, an eleven years old child allegedly took his life, thanks to a Johnathan Galindo.
